Worcester Combi Boiler Installation in Stoke-on-Trent

The Brief

A family home in Stoke-on-Trent had an ageing combi boiler that was becoming noisy, slow to fire, and starting to lose pressure overnight. The owners wanted a like-for-like swap to a modern high-efficiency unit, no fuss, no surprises, and crucially completed in a day so the household had hot water back by the evening.

What We Did

The job in summary:

• Pre-installation check: Surveyed the existing pipework, flue route, and gas supply. Confirmed a like-for-like swap was viable and ordered the Worcester Bosch combi to match the home's demand.
• Removed the old boiler: Isolated the gas, drained the system, and carefully removed the old unit. Took it away for responsible disposal as part of the install.
• Prepared the install site: Inspected the flue, gas inlet, and condensate route. Tidied the existing pipework so the new unit sat cleanly with no awkward bends.
• Fitted the new Worcester Bosch combi: Installed, levelled, and connected to the gas, water, and central heating circuits. All joints tested for leaks before pressurising.
• System flush and commission: Flushed the heating circuit to remove decades of sludge build-up, refilled with inhibitor, and fully commissioned the boiler. Combustion analysis run to verify clean firing.
• Handover and warranty: Walked the owners through the controls, registered the manufacturer warranty on their behalf, and left them with all the paperwork in a single folder.

The Result
